What is AGMVote?

AGMVote is an online voting platform built for condominium corporations in Ontario and across Canada. It runs the voting side of an Annual General Meeting: individual owner logins, digital proxies, board nominations, live quorum tracking and real-time results, all from a web browser.

Who is AGMVote for?

Condo boards and property management companies that run AGMs. Each condo corporation gets its own private portal, and a board member or property manager can run the meeting without any technical background.

How do unit owners vote?

Each owner gets their own login by email and votes from a phone, tablet or computer in any browser. There is no app to download. Voting opens on each agenda item when the board or chair opens it, and results update live.

Does AGMVote handle proxies?

Yes. Owners appoint a proxy holder online and either let the holder vote at their discretion or pre-vote on each agenda item, including director elections. Owners can review or change their proxy until the meeting is called to order, and pre-votes are cast automatically when voting opens.

Can we run a hybrid AGM with owners in the room and online?

Yes. Owners attending in person can be checked in and have their votes recorded by the board alongside owners voting online, so quorum and results include everyone.

How is quorum tracked?

Automatically and live. Attendance and proxies count toward quorum as owners join, and owners of more than one unit are weighted by the number of units they own, so the board always knows where it stands.

Is online AGM voting with AGMVote secure?

Every owner has individual credentials, so there are no shared logins and no ballot stuffing. Data is protected with AES-256 encryption, and every vote is recorded in an audit trail the board can export.

How long does setup take?

About 5 minutes. Your corporation gets a dedicated portal, the owner list is loaded, and the board takes it from there. Your setup is kept for next year’s AGM.

How much does AGMVote cost?

One flat fee per AGM: $250 plus $5 per unit. There is no subscription and no per-vote charge. If your meeting does not reach quorum, there is no charge.

Does AGMVote handle board nominations and director elections?

Yes. Owners can nominate themselves or another owner before a deadline the board sets, candidates complete the candidate disclosure online, and the election ballot lets owners choose as many candidates as there are open positions.
